The warm weather is upon us and our garden courtyard is a great spot to enjoy crisp white wine or a summer cocktail before dinner.

East Coast fusion meets historic downtown off the lobby of Halifax’s best small hotel. Offering inventive regional cuisine in intimate dining rooms, this “best kept secret” is popular with savvy travelers and discerning locals alike. In the summer months guests enjoy cocktails and light fare in the lush garden courtyard. In the autumn and winter a crackling fire invites from the hotel’s cozy library.

Chef Scott Vail

Scott works diligently to express his own culinary philosophy in his ever changing offerings at 'Stories'. One of the first Halifax chef's to leverage the diversity of local ingredients, Vail has maintained key relationships with Nova Scotia's farmers, forgers and fisherman for thirteen years.
